24c: 2¢ green DIAGONAL BISECT, tied by Halifax 16 DE ‘71 ‘H’ grid duplex to OVERSIZED 1¢ DROP LETTER RATE OHMS ‘BOARD OF WORKS’ PRINTED envelope (there were no weight restrictions on drop-letters), some severe cover faults and filing fold but an EXTREMELY RARE ‘non-philatelic’ BISECT USAGE (catalogue value of $6500 is woefully inadequate), with 1986 Greene Foundation certificate. 24var: 2¢ green, fresh and well-centered MINT BLOCK with full original gum, showing pronounced HORIZONTAL GUIDELINES beneath the entire bottom two stamps, some small faults, gum disturbance and supports, appears very fine and an IMPRESSIVE VARIETY BLOCK. Ex - Brigham.
